Really REALLY Bad Day!

So at 3:26 this morning I got a call on my cell phone from H's mom. She said that H had been in a car accident last night and is in the hospital an hour away. She had to be taken by Flight For Life to the hospital. She was on her way home from basketball practice last night at about 8 and got almost halfway home and then fell asleep. She went into the ditch and hit the first culvert and flew over it, then hit the second culvert and was ejected from her truck. If her truck would've rolled 90 degrees more it would've landed on top of her.

Needless to say, she has many injuries. Her upper right arm (which got broken early this summer due to a motocross accident), left ankle/heel and leg, pelvis, both shoulder blades, nose, 2 vertebrae in her neck, lacerations on her liver, internal bleeding, and a concussion. She is in the ICU in an induced coma and will be for a few days.

My head is spinning right now and I am so terrified. It could've been much worse then it was. She can breathe on her own and has not had a breathing tube., but she does have a drainage tube somewhere in the stomach area for the blood. If her lungs stay open like the have been and her liver doesn't bleed any more, she can have surgery to put screws and plates in her ankle tomorrow.

Any prayers for her and her family will be greatly appreciated. I will post updates when I know something more. I am planning on going to the hospital to be with her mom tomorrow when she has surgery.

Hot Dog for Halloween

I thought I would make a quick post for anyone that wants to see Murphy in his Halloween costume. It was an easy choice once I saw this one on Amazon.com. I fell in love right away and it's a perfect fit. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do!!!
